What makes your hot chocolate bombs unique?
I use premium ingredients in my bombs, including Guittard Apeels, for a creamy, rich delicious explosion of flavor. Each bomb is handcrafted and given boutique packaging for a beautiful gift and indulgent treat!
How long will my bombs last?
The bombs should last up to a month as long as they are stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. It is not necessary to refrigerate hot chocolate bombs. They are very fragile so please handle them with care!
How big are your hot chocolate bombs?
My hot chocolate bombs are approximately 2.3" in diameter. They are filled with delicious hot chocolate mix and a lot of marshmallows! I recommend 10-12 oz of hot milk with these bombs.
What flavors do you offer?
I offer four different regular flavors year round- Classic, Dark Chocolate Peppermint, Salted Caramel and Spicy Cinnamon...and I highly recommend that you try all of them! All of my flavors are chocolate based, but they each offer a different flavor profile so you can keep things interesting. Read more about each flavor on the home page. Follow me on social media to learn about seasonal limited time flavors.
Do I have to use milk or can I use water?
Just say no to water! The chocolate used for the shell does not taste great or melt well when mixed with water. You don't want to ruin your gourmet hot chocolate ball, so definitely use milk. I use whole milk for the creamiest, most delicious cup of hot chocolate, but you can use soy milk, oat milk, almond milk- whatever you prefer.
Can I customize my own flavor?
Right now I'm only offering the flavors listed on the website, but if you'd like a minor modification (e.g., leave out the marshmallows) please list your preference in the comment section at checkout and I will do my best to honor your request!
Why does everything say Sold Out?
If an item says sold out, that means either ordering is done for the week or I've already sold out for the week. Check back the following Friday at noon for inventory to be restocked!
Why aren't you shipping anymore?
Shipping is a logistical challenge for very fragile, easily melted chocolate balls. I've found that it is both time consuming and expensive to properly ship these, so for now I'm limiting sales to local customers. I am doing some research and trying out new methods though, so I do hope to offer shipping to customers again in the future.
